Frequently asked questions
How are calories calculated?
With reference clinical formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor basal metabolism, expenditure based on your activity, your workouts and your sport), then an adjustment to your goal: −20% to lose fat, +10% to build muscle. Safety floors are always respected, and protein is sized to protect your muscle mass.
I train at home with very little gear, does it work?
Yes. You tick exactly what you own (nothing, bands, dumbbells, a pull-up bar…) and the plan uses only that. Even with pure bodyweight, every session stays complete and balanced.
I already play football / box at a club, does the app account for it?
Yes, three times over: your club sessions are counted in your calorie needs, a conditioning session dedicated to your sport can replace a regular one (injury-prevention focus — hamstrings and adductors for football, for example), and you pick your training and match days: the plan schedules your gym sessions on the other days.
Can I add my own recipes?
Yes: name, ingredients, macros (with a consistency check) and steps. Your recipes show up first in your week and in swap suggestions — the app adapts to your cooking, not the other way around.
What happens if I slip up (restaurant, party)?
You declare it in one tap, no guilt. The next day, the app slightly eases your targets (protein kept) then everything returns to normal. A slip isn’t a failure — it’s built into the plan.
Are my photos really private?
The goal-advice photo is analyzed in memory then immediately deleted — it’s never saved. Your progress photos are stored in a private space only you can access, and you can delete them permanently any time. Details in our privacy policy.
Does Kaizmax replace a doctor or a certified coach?
No. The plans are indicative estimates based on recognized formulas. In case of a medical condition, pregnancy or doubt, consult a health professional.
